Farmworker Legal Services (FLS) is a legal aid office with attorneys and other legal staff who provide free legal assistance and referrals to migrant and seasonal farmworkers throughout the state of Michigan. FLS is a division of Legal Services of South Central Michigan, a non-profit organization funded primarily by the federal Legal Services Corporation.

January 12, 2012:

December 6, 2011:
· We are taking a short break in our summer recruiting and plan to start up again after New Year's. You can still see more information about our internship here.
· We are now accepting applications from law students for our Summer 2012 internship. You can find more information about the internship here. Last year we filled all of our positions by the end of November, and there's a chance we may do so again this year, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
August 18, 2011:· We had several wonderful interns with us this summer, most of whom have left us to get ready for school again. We had five legal interns: Andrew Hass, Diana Marin, Hilly McGahan, Kelly Sawyer, and Tayler Summers. We had a Kalamazoo College intern, Allie Seiwert, and an intern from Western Michigan University, Kelsey Grabill. We have two more WMU students who will be with us full-time a little longer until school starts: Hector Silva and Diana Cardoso.
