LSSCM conducts an annual private bar donation campaign through a volunteer board known as the Friends of Legal Aid. This program seeks donations of $300 per year from each attorney practicing in its service area. These donations can be made payable to and mailed to: LSSCM, 420 N. Fourth Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48104.

LSSCM also actively supports the State Bar Access To Justice Development Campaign and encourages lawyers to make donations to that campaign. These donations can be designated to local programs such as LSSCM and can also be designated to either current operations or an endowment fund. For information about this campaign, contact Candace Crowley, State Bar of Michigan (, 306 Townsend St., Lansing, MI 48933
