LSSCM uses federal income eligibility limits (125% of the federal poverty level) to determine income eligibility. As an example, the 2003 income limit for a two-person family was about $1,262.50/month. These limits are increased annually. Some limited waivers are permitted.
The LSSCM Senior Law Program provides services to county residents who are age 60 or over regardless of income; however, these services are targeted to low income and socially needy seniors.
